DEEP
The Diamond Educational Excellence Partnership, a.k.a DEEP, is a collaborative of community leaders and organizations committed to improving educational outcomes for children living in the Diamond Community. The Diamond Community refers to the cluster of neighborhoods that surround the intersection of Market and Euclid streets in southeast San Diego.
DEEP is facilitated by Gina Gianzero, who convenes a broad coalition of community partners to plan and execute the work. It is housed at the Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation and supported by the Jacobs Family Foundation and the Parker Foundation along with many other donors and community leaders.
